Written on a whim, glint (2021) is a tiny, twinkly space-play for crotales. Exploring bows and, in the premiere, thimbles, the alternating timbral qualities between the two implements, capturing an ephemeral sense of evanescence. Saturated with sparsity and extreme tension, glint (2021) is an arresting miniature for the stillest of spaces.
